Course Description: Accounting is a half
year course. The course covers the
entire accounting cycle and provides each student with the understanding of
double-entry bookkeeping. In addition, the
student is introduced to applications of manual accounting systems to
computerized systems.
Each student will be required to bring his
or her books to every class. Along with
their books they should also have a folder marked “Accounting Notebook.” This should also be brought to every class
and be used to store their required notes and all papers completed or given out
in class. Notebook checks will be done
throughout the year. Having a pencil and
calculator on-hand would also be very helpful.
